End of Season

Shaw Cross Sharks

Next season the Sharks will be in Division One again.

SHAW CROSS SHARKS FORM: W L L L D  (Last result on right)

National Conference League Division 1

| League Position: 7th   | Points: 24

Review... The Sharks enjoyed some good wins in the year especially the one away to Wath Brow considering what they have now achieved. It was just too much to ask as we came to the end three defeats put us out of the running for automatic promotion. We are happy to consolidate out position and some times it is a case of putting two feet down and walking before you start running again and chasing the pack for the chance to be in the top flight. Next season will be as tough, if not tougher. Cas Panthers, Eastmoor and West Bowling are back. Along with Normanton, Millom and either Milford or Stanningley. Four local games for us their which replace three trips to Lancashire and one to Cumbria whilst we only need to divert from East Leeds to either Milford or Stanningley.

Our Overall View... Their were mixed feelings at the start of the season. Some wanted promotion whilst some consolidating our position in NCL Division 1. In the end we finished mid-table and put in some sterling performaces this year and showing plenty of potential for next year.

Dougie's Notes... Stay at home and keep warm in the off season and watch the pro's battle it out on TV. We will be back in September as the new season gets under way.
