SO HOW CAN YOU ADVERTISE? It's simple just get in touch with the club either via e-mail or by telephone. Go to the Contact Us page and you can get in touch with any of the people on their and just let us know you are interested in sponsoring the club.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST ELSEWHERE? Media like magazine advertising prices start at around £1000 per colour page and go above £10,000 per page in certain publications. For Outdoor Advertising formats, prices can vary from around £2000 for mobile billboards on vehicles to £7-8000 per month for large billboard advertising on the high street or roadside. With Radio Advertising, the costs vary enormously and depend very much on the time slot and length of advert. A typical slot of 25 seconds can be around £250 - £1000 per week, depending on the frequency and amount of listeners. With newspaper advertising they will usually charge by the SCM or single column centimetre if it is for classified ads or up to £10,000 for full page magazine advertisements if it is in the display section.
WHAT WILL IT COST AND WHAT'S IN RETURN? Just see the simple price list below to find out what you can get back and how much you could save compared to other advertising or marketing campaigns.
PLAYER SPONSORS - £35 - To sponsor one of our Open Age players it will cost just £35 to cover their signing on fee for the season. With this your name or company will be in the matchday programme throughout the year as well as all year round on the website.
PROGRAMME SPONSORS - FROM £40 - The programme is A5 so for a quarter page with whatever you want on their it is £40 for the season, half a page so A6 is £60, and a full A5 page in the programme is just £100. Each sponsor can submit the details and logos etc and can be included in the space you have paid for. The programme is given out to all players and then sold to spectators. Each season on average over 1,000 programmes will go with the rest given out to members of the club. This is as good as flyers been spread around for you without the hassle to yourself.
MATCHDAY SPONSORS - £150 - With this you will be the sponsor for the day of the given match you choose (depending on availability). For this you will be invited to the game before at the club for as many people as you like. You will get free matchday magazines, free refreshments, members bar access, website coverage throughout the week with over 1000 hits a week and a presentation and memento on match day presented after the game. All this for £150 during the National Conference League season.
TEAM & KIT SPONSORS - To sponsor a team or have your company on a kit you would need to ring the club for details depending on which teams would like sponsorship and the kit prices to the club. Items such as polos, tracksuits, kitbags etc are always needed for the teams so you can sponsor anything you like from water bottles to balls. Anything and everything helps so please contact the club for more info.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED

As always we are in need of volunteers whether it be for catering, coaching, helping on match days, or any duty at all we are always in need. Whatever your circumstances get in touch and get involved in the Worlds Greatest Game.
The head coaches of England and Scotland have launched a major national recruitment campaign on behalf of the RFL to increase participation levels in Rugby League before, during and after the World Cup.
Launched by England’s Tony Smith, women’s coach Brenda Dobek and Scotland’s Steve McCormack at St Peters RC High School, Manchester, The Co-operative Try It campaign aims to attract and recruit new people to the sport in four areas – playing, coaching, volunteering and refereeing.
Sponsored by RFL Official Partner, The Co-operative, the campaign is centred around an interactive website www.tryit.co.uk and features video interviews with some of the world’s best players, coaches and referees on why they got involved in the sport. The website aims to provide those interested in getting involved in Rugby League with details of local clubs, relevant contacts, as well giving visitors the chance to win a number of money can’t buy prizes.
England coach Tony Smith said: “As with any major sporting event, we expect the Rugby League World Cup to increase the national profile of the sport and increase interest levels. It’s important that whilst the profile is high that we convert interest into participation.
