After the long lay off for holidays the U15s got back in action at Garforth who played with great spirit throughout, the Sharks started slowly conceding a try in the first minute after an error from the kick off but soon struck back with a quick brace of tries from Sam Ottewell who supported well all game, Garforth hit back to level from close range but Luke Powell powered over for the first of his hat trick and a smart offload from Brandan French put Harrison Pratt over in the corner to send the Sharks in 24-12 at the break. The 2nd half saw the Sharks defending strongly against early pressure from the hosts but a very good final 20 minutes saw the Sharks score a further 22 points with Tom Griffiths and Declan Brererton adding tries along with Powell (2). Eddie Macina was on form with the boot converting 7 from 8 attempts, great work from Aidy Kay, Ben D’Abreu, and Declan Ellis kept the Sharks going forward with some good touches from Keiran Boulton Harry Webster and Curtis Hodgson, Matty Gillard, Jay Webster Dale Smith and Jonny Marsden while Zack Moore and Jake Townsend both played well before injury in a solid team performance, the win means the Sharks are one win away from securing the league title . Sunday 16th they take on Hull Victoria at Leeds Road.
