Shaw Cross Sharks influential captain John Rourke is due to make his return from injury against Lock Lane tomorrow afternoon.
Rourke has been sidelined for almost six months after suffering a cartilage injury in pre-season.
The veteran hooker played a key role in helping the Sharks avoid relegation last season and the club will be hoping he can now help propel them toward the play-off places.
"Having Rourkey back is a huge boost for the team in the middle of the season," said assistant coach Andrew Fawkes.
"He is a real leader on and off the field.
"His strong defence will be a huge asset to the team tomorrow and beyond as we go into the second half of the season."
The Sharks travel to Castleford tomorrow where they take on Lock Lane (2:30pm).
Lock Lane won the reverse fixture 32-26 earlier in the season at Leeds Road but Shaw Cross will hope the return of Rourke combined with their sparkling away form will help them to another two points on the road.
